3 Ways to Help Others During Holly Days in Downtown Farmington

Volunteer your time or donate to charities on Saturday.

Saturday's Holly Days in downtown Farmington offers several opportunities for you to get into the holiday spirit by giving to others.

Here's how you can pitch in:

1. Volunteer

If you have a few hours to help with the Holly Days festivities on Saturday, head on over to SignUp Genius and claim a shift. There are still a few spots open.

2. Bring food to the Farmington Civic Theater

The city-owned theater will show two movies, and your admission is the donation of a new and unwrapped toy, new book, bag of nonperishable food, cash or checks made payable to the Farmington Goodfellows. Even if you can't stay for the movie, you can drop off a donation for this annual holiday drive.

3. Donate to the Tree of Wishes

Bring a new pair of mittens or socks and help decorate the Tree of Wishes, which will be located at the Walter E. Sundquist Farmington Pavilion along with the Greens and Gifts Market. Santa arrives at noon, so you can share your wish with him.
