UPDATED: 5 Things You Can Do at the (Main) Library Today

You can still have fun and stay warm at the Farmington branch and Main Library Tuesday.

UPDATE: Power has been restored and the Farmington branch library is open Tuesday. 

The power may be out at the Farmington Community Library Farmington branch, but the Main Library in Farmington Hills offers a number of activities for adults and kids today:

1. Playdate

No registration is required for this 10:30 a.m. drop-in play time. The library sets out toys and activities, and you stop by to meet new friends. 

2. eReader Assistance

Drop in at 6 p.m. to learn about the library's digital services. 

3. NaNoWriMo Write In

The National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) program connects writers with their nearby libraries, bookstores, and community spaces for cozy, communal write-ins. Starts at 6:30 p.m.

4. Baby Time

Parents may bring babies up to 16 months old to enjoy songs, rhymes, and stories, along with an opportunity to play with others. Starts at 7 p.m., no registration required.
