The City of Farmington Hills Department of Special Services has six job
opportunities open now:
1. Concession Attendant
Pay rate: $7.40/hr., start as soon as possible. Indoors and outdoors, 10 hours/week, evenings and weekends.
2. Custodian – Ice Arena
Pay rate: $10/hr, start as soon as possible. Must be at least 18 years old, knowledge in use of power equipment helpful.
3. Building Attendant/Zamboni Driver
Pay rate: $9.50/hr, start as soon as possible. Current valid State of Michigan Driver’s license with good driving record is required.
4. Youth Basketball Referee
Pay rate: $8/hr, Start January 2014. Officiate youth basketball games on Saturdays (January 11 – March 29) at Oakland Community College.
5. Parks Seasonal Laborer Positions
Pay rate: $9-$12/hr, start as soon as possible. 25+ hours/week, variable work schedules, weekends included.
6. Custodian – Parks and Golf
Pay rate: $9-$10/hr, start as soon as possible. 25+ hours/week, Monday-Sunday, late evening to early morning with some flexibility on shift
hours.
