Here's more information about that and other events on the Patch calendar:

1. Farmington Genealogical Society

Learn how to find information about the military men in your family and talk with fellow genealogists about your family's history on Tuesday, 7 p.m., at the Farmington Community Library Farmington branch. There's no charge to attend.

2. Community Conversation

The Farmington Area PTA Council and Farmington/Farmington Hills Education Foundation host this event, which gives local residents a chance to help set an agenda for Michigan in 2014. To RSVP for the Tuesday, 7 p.m. event, held at the Ten Mile Building, 32789 W. 10 Mile Rd. in Farmington, write to events@ffhedfoundation.org.

3. Botsford Internal Medicine Physician Leads Nov. 21 “Walk with a Doc"
