Brighten Someone's Day with Pet-A-Pet!

Friendly dogs and their owners are needed to bring smiles to others. The Pet-A-Pet Club is a 28-year old local organization visiting in five counties. We need members to visit nursing homes, hospitals, special-ed schools and assisted living facilities once a month for an hour-long visit. No certification is needed, just calm, clean, friendly pets. Please visit www.petapet.org to view our schedule and requirements.

Though all locations can use more volunteers, those most in need are:

Redford Geriatric Village: Call Carol at 248-356-8456

Woodhaven Retirement Community (Livonia): Call Laurie at 734-953-0438

Maple Manor (Wayne): Call Robert at 734-728-3063

Special Tree Neuro Care (Romulus): Call Christopher at 734-323-4290

Heartland Health Care Center – Georgian Bloomfield: Call Pat at 248-651-5171

Please join us in a very rewarding way to brighten someone's day!

There are some weekend and evening visits in the schedule, but they may not be close to you. If you are willing to drive a little farther, I hope you can find something that fits with your availability. In many cases the scheduled time is requested by the facility. There are about 80 facilities in five counties that we visit currently. Thanks for your interest!
