J.R. THOMPSON COMPANY ESTABLISHES NEW SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM

Farmington Hills-based J.R. Thompson Company (JRT), a creative marketing communications firm, has announced the formation of a new four-person senior management team to help provide client service excellence throughout the company’s large portfolio of marketing and communications services.   

“Our new senior management team is dedicated to ensuring our clients receive comprehensive, responsive and effective service,” said Clay Thompson, President, J.R. Thompson Company. “The new management group pulls from representatives of our account service, information technology and production/creative portfolios to provide a well-rounded client service approach. The four-person group has the experience, knowledge and talent to lead our team of 60 creative marketing professionals, who serve a diverse range of needs and provide a broad range of creative marketing services to our clients.”

Kurt Kerttu has been named Senior Vice President, Operations. Kerttu joined JRT in 1983 and has experience in all aspects of the firm’s portfolio of services. He oversees day-to-day production, management of quality control processes, purchasing and vendor relations, and works closely with account, creative and production teams on all client projects. Kerttu holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Oakland University.

Fiona McKenna-Dailey and Josh Perry have been appointed Vice Presidents, Client Services. The pair will work together to oversee client service relations for JRT’s roster of more than 20 clients. McKenna-Dailey and Perry are responsible for internal supervision of all client projects as well as management of overall client contact and outreach. McKenna-Dailey joined JRT in 1997 and previously served in roles as a Client Service Manager and Client Service Supervisor. She possesses a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Central Michigan University. Perry came on board JRT in 2005 and gained experience in roles as a Program Manager and Client Service Supervisor. He holds a double bachelor’s degree in Communications and Psychology from Indiana University, as well as a master’s degree from Michigan State University.

Dave Rainney has been named Vice President, Technology Services. Rainney came to JRT in 2004 and has worked as a Programmer, Project Manager and Director of Technology Services. Rainney oversees all technology services, and has supervision over four technology teams, including programming, web development, data services and network administration. Rainney earned a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Oakland University.
