THIS SUMMER FORBIDDEN SKY BIDS TO BREAK THE RULES AND WIN OVER READER’S HEARTS
What happens when questioning any rule is deemed forbidden, teens must bid on each other for marriage, and citizens are forced to shroud their dark identities?
WATERFORD, Mich., July 30, 2013 – Author Stacy Renée Keywell today announced the release of her new novel, Forbidden Sky (260 pp. $13.99). She offers a glimpse of this dystopia through the eyes of several characters as they narrate the book. From their unique perspectives the story culminates into an astonishing conclusion. The majority of the story concentrates on those awkward teenage years where most readers can identify with their own life experiences.
After accumulating almost two decades experience as a dedicated educator, Forbidden Sky is Stacy Renée Keywell’s first novel. A small yet steady buzz about her book has already taken over Facebook and has exploded on several twitter feeds, trending with area teens. Stacy adds, “Storytelling and writing has always been my passion. For me, publishing a novel is a dream come true. But now it goes beyond my dreams. I want to practice what I preach, and teach by example. I want my daughters to see that hard work and dedication pays off. I want them to set their goals high, follow their own dreams, and never give up.”
The main characters in Forbidden Sky never give up either. They fight until the end, holding on to their dreams even if it comes at a price, or is forbidden to do so. The twists and turns will take the reader on a fantastic flight leaving them eager to unravel the mystery of how the beginning truly ends.
Stacy Renée Keywell works as a teacher. She graduated from the James Madison Program at Michigan State University, and earned an MAT from Wayne State University. She is currently working on a novella, and book two of the Dark Wing Series. She lives in a little house in the woods with her husband and two daughters.
