The 2014 South Farmington 10U Blues continued their winning ways by taking the Championship at Livonia Junior Athletic League’s “3rd Annual Diamond Dig Classic.”

The Blues swept a doubleheader on Saturday, May 31, beating the Livonia Cardinals 9-3 and the Livonia Hawks 17-3. Then on Sunday, June 1, the Blues beat the Canton Crossfire 12-0, sending them to the Championship Game. In that game, the Blues jumped out to a 6-2 lead, but had to hang on to beat the Monroe Titans, 7-6.

The LJAL Diamond Dig Classic was the 3rd summer tournament for this year’s 10U Blues. They placed in the Runner-up position in their other two tourneys, the Carleton Demolition Classic, May 10-11, and the Muskegon Triple Blast, May 17-18.
