Community Health and Social Services Center (CHASS) of Southwest Detroit is partnering with Level One Bank to implement a four-part financial literacy course to help the community members prioritize and plan their monthly expenses while saving for the unexpected. The first class took place on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at CHASS of Southwest Detroit.

banking scams, checks vs. money orders and the danger of payday advances.
Courses are designed to help the Southwest Detroit community by providing the tools
and education necessary to understand the fundamentals of financial management
and household budgeting.

started in July and end in October. They are free and open to the public.
