Wow Writing Workshop has several upcoming workshops to help you with your scholarship essays and the ACT writing test.

Wow Them With Your Scholarship Essay

What does it take to write a winning scholarship essay? In this hands-on class, students will learn how to interpret a prompt, brainstorm ideas, and prepare to write strong essays for college scholarships. Bring paper and a pen, and come prepared to write!

Ace the ACT Writing Test

In this interactive class, high school students will learn how to succeed on the writing portion of the ACT. Topics include how to read and evaluate the prompt; how to organize your thoughts; tips for writing quickly, clearly and effectively; and common mistakes and how to avoid them. Students will discuss strategies and complete test-related activities, including one full, timed writing test. The writing test will be scored according to the ACT rubric and will be returned to students the following week.

Fee: $55.
