Wow Dispels Myths of the College Essay at National College Fair in Novi Next Week!

March Madness marks the unofficial opening of college prep season for high school juniors throughout the U.S. Wow Writing Workshop's team has been trekking all over town this month, speaking to high school counselors, interviewing admissions and test prep experts for upcoming webinars, and presenting workshops for students on the college essay.

 

Next week, on Friday Mar. 28, Wow will be moderating an all-star panel (including Jim Cotter, Director of Admissions at MSU and KIm Bryant, UM's Assistant Director of Admissions) in Novi during the Michigan Association for College Admissions Counseling's 2014 Annual Conference. The session, called Hands Off That Essay! How to Help Without Taking Over, will take place at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, 1-2 p.m. Ted Spencer, University of Michigan's Dean of Admissions, will deliver the keynote speech during lunch, immediately before Wow's panel.

The following Monday evening, Mar. 31, and Tuesday morning, Apr. 1, Wow Writing Workshop President Kim Lifton will present three sessions to students, parents, and high school counselors during the National Association for College Admissions Counseling's Metro Detroit National College Fair, also at the Suburban Collection Showplace.
