'Camp Rock' Auditions Open to Young Actors Jan. 25-26

Drop-in auditions at the Costick Center are open to beginners and experienced actors.

Newcomers and experienced actors are welcome to open auditions for Disney’s “Camp Rock – The Musical” will be held Jan. 25 and 26, 12 p.m.-5 p.m. at the Costick Center, 28600 W. 11 Mile Rd. in Farmington Hills.

The Farmington Hills Youth Theatre production offers a variety of roles at all performance levels. Auditions are open to both residents and non-residents, and registration is not required. Auditions are easy and friendly, and no preparation is necessary.

“Camp Rock – The Musical” shares how a group of talented kids face a showdown with a competing camp and features popular music and scenarios relevant to today's kids.

“Our young actors loved being a part of our last production,” said Rachel Timlin, Cultural Arts Coordinator. “The camaraderie shared by our two large casts definitely transferred to the stage.”
