Can Your Farmington Hills Organization Help Women in Need Dress for Success?

Friedman Integrated Real Estate Solutions, based in Farmington Hills, will pick up donations of gently used career clothing on April 19.

Friedman Integrated Real Estate Solutions in Farmington Hills will host a professional work clothing drive from April 15-19 to benefit Career Dress, a nonprofit organization that provides work clothes for women in search of employment, and NSO Joe’s Place, a nonprofit organization that provides men with dress clothing for work.

“Metro Detroit is expected to add close to 40,000 jobs in the next few years.  This charitable initiative is especially important, as it better equips members of our community who have upcoming interviews, or are starting new jobs,” said Stan Finsilver, Executive Vice President and sponsor of Friedman’s Charitable Committee.

Both organizations are in need of gently-used suit outfits including pant suits, jackets, button-up shirts, blouses, slacks, purses, jewelry and closed-toe shoes. To increase the drive’s impact on the community, Friedman is encouraging other organizations to join this initiative throughout the Metro Detroit area.

Friedman will provide marketing materials to any company that wants to publicize the drive.  In addition, Friedman will be traveling to Farmington Hills, Novi, West Bloomfield, and Southfield to collect donations on Friday, April 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. All organizations interested in participating should contact Friedman’s Charitable Committee at charitable.committee@freg.com or 248-324-2000 to register for the drive.
