Oakland County Auction

Oakland County's annual Spring Auction items up for bid include automobiles, computers and electronics, office items and tools confiscated during criminal investigations or previously owned by county government. The auction will be held at the county's Vehicle Operations Building. 

Among the vehicles up for auction are a black all wheel drive 2005 Range Rover; a black 2002 Daewoo soft tail motorcycle; a white 2001 Cadillac Deville; and about four dozen other American cars from Ford, Chrysler and General Motors. 

Other items on which the public can also bid include a Generac generator, a Cushman Truckster, a Tappan electric stove and oven, an Ultra air compressor, and a deer stand. Plus, there is a variety of computer and electronic equipment from companies such as Apple, Blackberry, Sony and Dell, among others.

The public preview of the auction items will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday, May 14. The general auction then gets under way at 9:30 a.m. and the vehicle auction begins at 11 a.m. Those who wish to preview the vehicles up for auction may preview them 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2011.
