Farmington Hills Among Real Estate Blog's Top 10 Michigan Cities

Citing both a low crime rate and Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum, MoVoTo Blog this week ranked Farmington Hills as the 9th best city in Michigan.

MoVoTo described Farmington Hills as "affluent," based on higher cost of living and home values than the state average. 

"What all that money doesn’t get you, though, is as many amenities as in other parts of the Great Lakes State," the blog noted. "(Although having a place called Marvin’s Marvelous Mechanical Museum that’s full of cool/creepy coin-operated contraptions helps in our book.)"

MoVoTo ranks cities in a variety of categories, from "Preppiest" to "Nerdiest" using algorithms "to weigh categories in ways that have never been done before."
