Farmington Jaycees Host 'Digital Diet' Speaker Nov. 11

Farmington Hills native Mark Ostach's presentation is offered free and open to the public at Oakland Community College Orchard Ridge campus.

The Farmington Area Jaycees will host guest speaker Mark Ostach, the "Digital Diet Guy", at Oakland Community College Orchard Ridge campus Nov. 11, 7 p.m.

Free of charge and open to anyone interested, Ostach will talk about the benefits of unplugging, the pros and cons of technology in the classroom, and how to find balance in your digital world. 

A recipient of Crain’s Detroit business 20 in their 20s, Ostach earned both a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, with a concentration in Neuroscience, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics & Management from Albion College. The Farmington Hills native also obtained a Master of Science in Information Systems with a specialization in Project Management from Walsh College.

Ostach is Chief Operating Officer at Digerati, Inc., a creative engineering firm in Downtown Detroit, where he handles staffing and project management.
