Foundation Gala Honors Long-Time Farmington Hills Restrauteur

Johnny Ginopolis receives the Riley Award for Altruism at the Farmington/Farmington Hills Foundation for Youth and Families Winter Gala.

The Farmington/Farmington Hills Foundation for Youth and Families will present the annual Riley Award for Altruism to Johnny Ginopolis, owner of Ginopolis' Bar-B-Q Smokehouse, during next year's Winter Gala, held Feb. 8, 6 p.m., at Sellers Buick GMC in Farmington Hills. 

“Johnny Ginopolis has demonstrated tireless commitment to the Farmington/Farmington Hills community, and it’s an honor to take the time to honor him,” said gala co-chair Sam Slaughter.

This year’s Gala will feature a Fantasy Live Auction, entertainment from a string quartet from Farmington Public Schools and other surprises. Tickets are $200 per person. For more information about table prices, ads and sponsorships for the event, call 248-345-9090.
