Governor Warner Mansion Lights Up for the Holidays

The Farmington Area Jaycees coordinate this annual event, which includes a visit from Santa.

Area residents flocked to the Saturday for the Farmington Area Jaycees annual tree lighting ceremony.

Families took tours of the mansion, which was home to Michigan's only 3-term governor, Fred M. Warner. Volunteers served cookies and hot cocoa in the carriage house.

Farmington resident Maria Taylor has been a volunteer at the event for the past four years. "It's a great place to get into the holiday spirit," she said.
