Harvest Moon Tuesday Volunteer Rally Moves to Pavilion

Learn more about the downtown Farmington event and sign up to help.

A Tuesday rally for those interested in helping with this year's Harvest Moon celebration in downtown Farmington has been moved to the Walter E. Sundquist Farmington Pavilion

The 7 p.m. event has been moved from John Cowley & Sons, where cleanup continues after a small fire Friday

The pep rally gives area residents the opportunity to learn more about Harvest Moon, held Sept. 26-28, and to sign up for volunteer shifts. Light appetizers will be served.

“It’s just a fun way to kick off the fall season,” said Melissa Andrade, event volunteer coordinator and DDA President. “I have volunteered at this event for years and through this experience, have made new friends, became much more involved in the community and had fun along the way.”

Anyone interested in attending the pep rally should write to volunteer@downtownfarmington.org or call 248-473-7276.
