The advisory remains in effect until 12 p.m. Saturday.

This morning's fog will likely be a problem through midday in Farmington, Farmington Hills and much of southeast Michigan, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

A dense fog advisory will remain in effect until 12 p.m. Saturday. Expect visibility of a quarter-mile or less, causing hazardous driving conditions. The NWS advises motorists to slow down, use their headlights and leave plenty of room ahead.

The good news? Expect a high of 40 degrees today – about 50 degrees above this week's record lows.
