Help Save the Kirtland Warbler at Farmington Hills Nature Center

Abigail Ertel's program about the Michigan songbird is designed for adults.

Explore the wonderful world of warblers during a Nov. 21 presentation at the City of Farmington Hills Nature Discovery Center in Heritage Park.

Guest speaker will be Abigail Ertel, Kirtland’s Warbler coordinator from Huron Pines. Hear about recovery efforts for the endangered Kirtland’s Warbler and how this rare, little Michigan songbird is making a huge comeback.

Held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., this event is designed for adults. The suggested donation is $5 per person, with all of the proceeds going to benefit the survival of the Kirtland’s Warbler.

Call 248-477-1135 or email asmith@fhgov.com for more information about this and other Nature Center programs.
