House of Worship Tour Sunday Showcases Farmington Area's Religious Diversity

Four houses of worship open their doors for a tour that begins at 1 p.m. at the Universalist Unitarian Church.

Learn more about four faith traditions represented in the Farmington area on Oct. 13, during a House of Worship Tour sponsored by the Multicultural Multiracial Community Council (MCMR). 

The tour begins at 1 p.m. at the Universalist Unitarian Church at 25301 Halsted Rd. and includes: 


Tour pamphlets will be available at the participating houses of worship during the event. 

The Servant Church of St. Alexander has donated use of its bus to transport up to 48 people on the Houses of Worship Tour, at no cost to the passengers. People wishing to ride the bus should meet at the Costick Center, on 11 Mile Road east of Middlebelt, at 12:30 p.m. The bus will return to the Costick Center no later than 4:30 p.m. 

Bus seating is limited, on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants may also drive independently to any and all of the participating houses of worship.
