The three beaches closed are:

  • St. Clair Shores Memorial Park Beach on Lake St. Clair, closed by the Macomb County Health Department for high levels of bacteria of an unknown source.

  • New Baltimore Park Beach on Lake St. Clair, also closed by the Macomb County Health Department for high levels of bacteria of an unknown source.

  • Saginaw Bay-Lake Huron-Brissette Beach Township Park, closed by the Bay County Health Department for high levels of bacteria of an unknown source

All Oakland County beaches are currently opening, but health officials told The Oakland Press monitoring will begin Monday and continue through July 25.
