Hundreds attend Novi Chaand Raat and Eid Event

The celebration of the end of the Muslim Ramadan observance was held at the Atrium of Novi.

The Pakistan Women Association held its second annual Chaand Raat and Eid event at the Novi Atrium this week, to celebrate the end of the Muslim calendar month of Ramazan, commonly known as Ramadan.

Dr. Hafeez Shaikh and wife, Dr. Zara Noorani, who is the vice president of the Women's Assocation, hosted the event at the Novi Atrium Monday evening. Hundreds gathered to celebrate the sighting of the moon at the end of the month of Ramazan.

"The event has grown larger than last year and has become very popular. We might need to find a larger facility to hold the event next year," said Noorani.
