Learn More About Coyotes Nov. 8 in Farmington Hills

The event at the City of Farmington Hills Nature Center includes activities for children and adults.

Coyotes have been spotted in a number of Farmington and Farmington Hills neighborhoods, but how much do you know about them?

Discover fun facts and information about coyotes, learn about where they live, what they eat, and how they behave during "Understanding Coyotes," a program offered Nov. 8 at the City of Farmington Hills Nature Center in Heritage Park. Find out how to live in harmony with these sometimes misunderstood animals, as many coyote myths will be dispelled.

The 6 p.m. event will include story time and coyote crafts for kids, as well as take-home resources for adults. The program fee is $3 per person, all materials included.

Register in advance at the Costick Center or at https://recreg.fhgov.com. Call the Nature Center at 248-477-1135 or email asmith@fhgov.com for more information.
