A retired FBI profiler and hostage negotiator who once headed a behavioral science unit known as “the ‘Silence of the Lambs’ unit” will be speaking at an Oakland Town Hall meeting in Bloomfield Hills next week.
Clint Van Zandt is one of four guest lecturers in the Oakland Town Hall series, a 50-year tradition in the county, The Daily Tribune reports. The lecture is at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 14, at St. George’s Cultural Center, 43816 Woodward Ave. For ticket information, call (248) 625-4137.
Among his credits are his accurate profile of Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh the day of the bombing, and his negotiations with Branch Davidian cult leader David Koresh in Waco, TX.
