Patch tells you what's happening this weekend around Farmington and Farmington Hills.

Hello Wednesday, so nice to see you again.  We all know that for most people this means the work week is half over.  However, it's always fun to look ahead. In this new feature, we'll share our daily picks for fun and interesting events happening in the area, and on Friday, we will compile the list to help you plan your next weekend's adventures.

Our pick:

Where:

When: Saturday at 2 p.m. (first session) or 4 p.m. (second session)

Why go: Paleo Joe is a traveling paleontologist who takes children of all ages back to the ancient world of when dinosaurs roamed the earth. Paleo Joe wrote the Dinosaur Detective Club series of chapter books. Through stories, he is able to show how dinosaur fossils can tell stories from the past and how they are created. His high-energy program will allow children to see real dinosaur teeth and skulls, fossils, and even some dinosaur puppets. If you weren't excited about dinosaurs before meeting Paleo Joe, you will be afterward.
