Weekend Countdown: Stars and Stripes Forever Celebration

The weekend just ended, and we're all back to our Monday routines – but it's always fun to look ahead. We're sharing our daily picks for fun and interesting events happening in the area, and on Friday, we will compile the list to help you plan your next weekend's adventures.

When: Friday at 11 a.m.

Why go: Veteran's Day is set aside to honor veterans, and the City of Farmington Hills Senior Division plans to do just that on Friday. All veterans in the area and their guests are welcome to attend. There will be an honor guard ceremony conducted by Wixom VFW and , keynote speakers and recognition of Veterans. After a special lunch, attendees will enjoy dancing to the Mike Wolverton Band.
