Auditions Set for Young Actors

Get a Clue Mystery Theatre expands to offer a youth theater program.

Get A Clue Mystery Theatre, which performs comedy mystery dinner theatre at in Farmington, is forming a junior division for kids aged 8 - 18. 

The junior division play will be performed at Page's on a Saturday morning, with lunch following. Auditions for the first production, "Humpty-Dumpty is Missing! or The Mysterious Case of the Fallen Egg" by Joseph Robinette will be held on Thursday, May 5 at 6:30 p.m. at , 23020 Power Rd. just north of Grand River in Farmington.

The play is a one-act spoof of the 1940's and 1950's private eye movies. Sammy Scoop is a private investigator faced with the biggest challenge of his career as he investigates the sudden fall and disappearance of Humpty-Dumpty. There are many funny one-liners, as well as hilarious monologues.

No previous acting experience is necessary but actors should be able to memorize lines. Cold readings will be taken from the script for the auditions.

All rehearsals will be held at Positive Attitude on Thursday evenings from 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m., and some Saturday mornings from 10-11:30 a.m.
