Enjoy, Purchase Local Art at kickstART farmington Exhibit, Silent Auction

Local artists have donated items for the March 23 fundraising event, which is open to the public.

kickstART farmington, a local non-profit organization, will host an Art Exhibit & Silent Auction from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. on March 23, at Ginger’s Café, 32905 Grand River Ave., in Farmington.

According to a press release, the art exhibit features works in various media, primarily contributed by local artists, offered for sale through a silent auction. The event is free and open to the public; wine and treats will be served.

Proceeds from the silent auction will benefit the artists and kickstART farmington, which aims to strengthen the community through the arts. The organization has hosted a Super 8 Movie Festival, a "Poetry Bomb" and Free Art Friday, which placed works donated by local artists into the hands of community residents, free of charge.
