Botsford Hospital to Host Safety Fair

is hosting its annual Safety and Injury Prevention Fair on Saturday, May 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  The free event is open to individuals, families and groups of all ages.

Included in the event will be experts and exhibits on fall prevention, motorcycle safety, disaster preparedness, alcohol awareness, Dr. Paws Pet Therapy and other .

Information will be available on bike safety with helmets for purchase for $6. An event highlight will be a Children’s Bike Parade at 11a.m. with prizes for best decorated bikes.

Interactive tours of a survival flight helicopter, an ambulance and the Farmington Hills Fire Department’s Smoke House will be featured. Other activities, raffles, food and prizes will be part of the day.

The event will be held in the Community Room of the Zieger Administration and Education Center on the east side of the Botsford Hospital campus.
