Harvest Moon Volunteer Pep Rally

As the summer nights become cooler, downtown Farmington prepares to celebrate the onset of autumn with its annual Harvest Moon Celebration. Anyone interested in volunteering for Farmington’s most famed event, is invited to the Volunteer Pep Rally.

The annual pep rally will be held at John Cowley and Sons on Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. The rally will highlight information about this year’s event and give volunteers the opportunity to sign up for the task they’d most like to do. A new addition to the celebration will be a Farm to Table dinner on the event’s final evening. This rustic and elegant addition will be in need of volunteers that have professional restaurant server experience.

“The pep rally has become a tradition – for many, it’s the kick off to the Harvest Moon Celebration,” said Janet Bloom, Farmington Downtown Development Authority Events Planner. “It’s open to anyone interested in volunteering and is a fun evening filled with food and friends. Cowley’s warm atmosphere is the perfect place to launch an autumn event.”
