Literary Nonprofit Fundraiser for Film Festival

Poet and writer Keith Taylor, who coordinates the undergraduate program in creative writing at the University of Michigan, will read from his works during an April 15 fundraiser at  in Farmington. 

Hosted by Absinthe: New European Writing, a nonprofit arts organization based in Farmington Hills, the event will also feature live music by guitarist Scott Thompson, wine and cheese, sweet treats and coffee.

Absinthe promotes and provides access to international art and writing. The organization is raising funds to support the Absinthe Festival of International Film and Writing, slated June 1 and 2, which will be free and open to the public.
