This Two Muses Theatre production, a comic mash up of “The Man Who Came to Dinner” and “Nip/Tuck”, has fun with celebrity, plastic surgery, the trials and tribulations of middle age, and the consolations of friendship.
Diane Hill, co-founder of Two Muses Theatre and director of the show, said, “The play is perfect for our company for several reasons: our mission is to provide opportunities for women in theater and to promote women artists and artisans. There are several rich roles for women in this play, and it’s a wonderfully lighthearted look at how women view themselves and the pressures they put on themselves to maintain physical beauty. I was intrigued that it was written by two well-known, distinguished authors, and upon reading it, found it delightfully funny as well as poignant. I think audiences will really enjoy it.”
Tickets for the Sept. 6 preview night are $10 all seats.
