Farmington Arts Foundation Announces Additional Festival of the Arts Awards

The People's Choice and Artist's Choice Awards were chosen by votes cast during the April event.

After the Festival of the Arts, held April 20-22 at the Costick Center in Farmington Hills, the Farmington Arts Foundation (FAF) tallied votes from the public and FAF members for public and artist favorites among the entries in the 2012 juried art show. 

Dean Rogers' "Flowers on Tuesday" (Colored Pencil) won the 2012 People's Choice Award. Fran Seikaly's "Shallot, Onion, Leek and Gourd" (Oil) and Rosemarie Simonton's "Grandmother's Girls" (Pastel) tied for the 2012 Artist's Choice Award.

The Foundation announced its  before the festival.
