Farmington Hills-Based Chamber Music Society Presents Artists in 'Die Winterreise'

Christoph Prégardien will perform Franz Schubert’s song cycle in its entirety with pianist Menahem Pressler.

The Chamber Music Society of Detroit, based in Farmington Hills, presents acclaimed tenor Christoph Prégardien in a Dec. 15 performance of Franz Schubert’s song cycle Die Winterreise, in its entirety, with pianist Menahem Pressler.

The Signature Series concert begins at 8 p.m. in the Seligman Performing Arts Center, 22305 W. 13 Mile Rd. (Lahser and 13 Mile Roads), Beverly Hills, on the campus of Detroit Country Day School.

Schubert composed his song cycle, Die Winterreise, shortly before his death.
