Michigan Weavers Guild Trunk Sale Comes to Farmington Hills
Admission is free to this annual exhibit at the Costick Center.
The artists of the Michigan Weavers Guild will offer a wide array of handwoven items for gift giving at their Holiday Trunk Sale on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the in Farmington Hills. Admission to the sale is free.
The artwork of the Michigan Weavers Guild members has long delighted and inspired visitors at their annual exhibits at the Costick Center’s City Gallery. Works have included wearable pieces and accessories, framed wall pieces, home decor objects, sculpture, and jewelry.
The Winter Market will take place in the Costick Center lobby. The sale is a cooperative effort by the Guild and the City’s . A portion of all sales will go to support City of Farmington Hills arts programs for children and adults. The Costick Center is located at 28600 W. Eleven Mile Road.

The City Gallery will also feature an exhibit by the Weavers Guild from Nov. 19, 2011 through Jan. 3, 2012. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For more information, call 248-473-1856.
