The Gang Brings Old School Rock and Roll to Riley Park

The Band drew a crowd to Rhythmz in Riley Park Friday night that spilled out from the park, onto the sidewalk – and even across the street.

Formed in 1964, The Band played rock covers, from "I'm Not Your Steppin' Stone" to "Jenny (867-5309)," and left the crowd asking for more at the close of the show.

Band members are Bob Beeckman, Bloomfield Twp., Lou Fischette, Rochester Hills, Jim Butler, Commerce Twp., Jonathon Swinton, Walled Lake, and Don Henderson, Rochester. Henderson said the group doesn't have another local gig scheduled. You can follow the band on their website.
