Does Your Family Qualify for Free or Reduced School Lunches?

Applications are due Sept. 16 for families that receive other assistance or meet income guidelines.

Families of students attending Farmington Public Schools have until Sept. 16 to turn in applications for free or reduced lunches, which are available on the district's website

Children in households that receive help from the Food Assistance Program (FAP), Family Independence Program (FIP), or Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) qualify regardless of income. Foster children, homeless, runaway or migrant children also qualify.

Reduced price meals are available to families depending on income. Qualifying incomes range from $409 weekly for a family of one to more than $1,000 for families of six or larger.
