The Dog Days of Summer are here, and so is the Dog Park!!!

The William Grace Dog Park (a.k.a. Bark-in-the-Hills) is open!!

My last Patch blog post was in February. The "high" temperature of the day was 35. Now it's June, and topped 100 degrees this afternoon. In February, the William Grace Dog park was just a hope. Today, The William Grace Dog Park is open for business, having had a "trial run" on Sunday, and the Grand Opening on Monday.

I headed over yesterday with my therapy dog Paisley, but it was pretty hot, and there was only one other dog-human pair. The dogs engaged in about 2 minutes of chase before admitting defeat. The other human and I agreed to come back when the weather is cooler. Maybe you'll join us?
