Baby Boot Camp Celebrates One Year of Helping Farmington Area Moms Get Fit

An open house will be held June 1 at Shiawassee Park.

The Baby Boot Camp will hold an open house June 1, 10 a.m.-12 p.m., at Shiawassee Park in Farmington, to celebrate the fitness and nutrition program's first year of serving area moms.

Guests will enjoy refreshments provided by Zico Coconut Water, Door to Door Organics and Svelte, and the first 20 moms will receive class packages and swag bags. Jungle Java and My Gym are providing door prizes.

Baby Boot Camp stroller-fitness classes combine strength-training exercises with cardiovascular drills in 60-minute sessions. Pilates, yoga and abdominal exercises help improve core strength.

“Fitness has always been an important part of my lifestyle. Baby Boot Camp was a huge help for me after our daughter Elsie was born,” Kreager said. “After relocating to Farmington Hills, I knew we had to bring Baby Boot Camp here so I could help moms in the area.”
