Deadline for Forest Elementary Business Expo Extended to Oct. 21
The successful event benefits vendors and the Farmington elementary school.
PTA parent Melissa Rakolta is organizing a second business expo Nov. 3, 5 p.m.-9 p.m. – and there's still time for vendors to sign up.
Rakolta has extended the deadline to Oct. 21. As an independent consultant for Thirty-One Gifts, through which she sells handbags and other gift items, she pulled the first "Friends of Forest" Expo together in late March as a way to help crafters and small business owners, while also benefiting the school. The event was overwhelmingly successful, with more than 60 vendors participating and many families attending.
