Farmington Faerie Gathering Includes Teas, Scavenger Hunt, Faerie Ball

The second annual gathering features activities all around downtown Farmington.

The Second Annual Faerie Gathering brings a variety of activities to downtown Farmington businesses Feb. 14-16. 

Event organizers invite everyone to look for faeries in and around the following events:

Faerie Door Scavenger Hunts for adults and children

Players will follow directions on a play card to find faerie doors at participating merchants and collect clues that will lead them to the next door. With three days to complete the scavenger hunt, players have time to browse and shop along the way. Completed play cards will be entered into a drawing for prize baskets. Players who spend $25 in participating shops will be entered into a drawing for a second prize basket. 

Ginger's Café Faerie Tea

Enjoy herbal tea, scones with cream and jam, sparkling juice, faerie tea sandwiches and mini magical cupcakes at Ginger's Café on Feb. 15, 1 p.m.-3 p.m. Cost is $21.95 per person. 

Rose Garden Faerie Tea

Held at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Feb. 16 at the Village Mall, this event is open to all ages. Admission of $10 includes tea, treats and faerie entertainment.

Faerie vendors

 The Village Mall will host faerie-ish vendors, face painters, entertainers, etc. Vendor tables are $20. Learn more on the event website.

  • Victorian Lace Elegance: Guess the number of tea bags in the jar to win a prize                                                                    
  • The Sacred Sage: Faerie oracle card readings and Faerieland Diorama 
  • The Vines Flower and Garden Shop: Make your own Faerie crown   
  • Farmington Downtown Development Authority: Make your own leprechaun mask Location TBD

The Sun, Moon and Stars Faerie Ball

Adults 21 and older are invited to Grand Celebrations on Grand River for this Feb. 16 event. Tickets are $25 and include open bar, appetizers, DJ and a costume contest to elect the Faerie King and Queen.
