Fill a Homeless Animal's Christmas 'Wish List' at Canine College in Farmington Hills

Stop by the pet care facility and select an animal ornament from Canine College's 'Giving Tree'.

Canine College, a Farmington Hills-based pet care facility, has created a program to benefit homeless pets placed at the Westland Berman Center of the Michigan Humane Society (MHS).

The Giving Tree, now in place in the Canine College lobby, is adorned with paper ornaments that feature pictures of animals that need a little love this holiday season. On the back of each ornament is a "wish list". Visitors can choose an ornament, fill the animal's wish list and place the items in a holiday stocking. Staple the animal's picture to the stocking and bring it back to Canine College by Dec. 20 to place under the tree.

"Santa Paws" will deliver the holiday gifts on Dec. 24, making the day special for the homeless pets. If the homeless animal has been adopted, Santa Paws will make sure the animal currently housed in that room will receive the special holiday gift.
