Former High School Counselor Now Helps Students Across the U.S.

Priscilla ONeill, president of Summit Scholars, said she started her Farmington Hills business in October 2012. The company originally began six years earlier in Maryland.

How did your business get started? I was a high school counselor at private school in Maryland. Loved it so much did not want to stop so I started my own practice.

What services does your business provide? Professional College Planning and Advising Services for high school students and families.

What do you want your business to be best known for? Providing options family did not know were possible. Giving understanding and confidence to students through the process of planning for college that they never expected.

What's your most popular service?
The Pinnacle Advisory service- full comprehensive and integrative college planning.

Why did you choose the location that you did? Farmington Hills is a great place to live and raise a family. People are very interested in education for their children and grandchildren.

What's a fact about your business that most customers probably don't know? 26% of high achieving students across America are using a independent educational college consultant such as myself. A independent consultant will take the focus off the college and put it on the student's fit with a college.
