Hitatchi, Chesnut Ridge Condominiums Receive Beautification Honors

The Farmington Hills Beautification Commission honors businesses and organizations during an Oct. 18 ceremony.

The Farmington Hills Beautification Commission has honored 80 businesses, organizations, and residential entrances with 2012 Beautification Awards. 

The Beautification Commission chose Chestnut Ridge Condominiums, located on Halsted Road, between 12 and 13 Mile Roads, to receive the Beautification Commissioners’ Award. Commissioners recognized the complex’s extensive plantings and maintenance efforts.

Mary Engelman, Executive Director of the Greater Farmington Area Chamber of Commerce, selected Hitachi Automotive Systems Americas, located on Grand River, with the Chamber Award for their impressive landscape.

Winners were recognized Oct. 18 at Farmington Hills City Hall by City Manager Steve Brock, Mayor Barry Brickner, Beautification Commission members, and the Chamber of Commerce.
