Neighborhood Shop: Schroeter's Flowers Owner 'Born in a Flower Pot'
The family owned store has been serving Farmington Hills and surrounding communities for four decades.
One could say that owning a flower shop is in Donna Schroeter’s DNA. Her dad owned a flower shop in Detroit, where she spent her youth.
The owner of on 12 Mile Road in Farmington Hills quips that she was “born in a flower pot.”
David and Donna Schroeter opened the family owned and operated business in 1970. From silk and natural flowers, to candy, balloons, fruits and gifts, the store boasts a large array of contemporary flower arrangements, as well as creative designs by Schroeter’s son.
