Patch Readers' Choice Voters Pick Grand Tavern in Farmington Hills
Located on Drake, the bar/restaurant was selected as the best place to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

Grand Tavern was open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on St. Patrick's Day, and co-owner Mario Lucaj said the place was "jam-packed all day long. From 8:30 in the morning, you couldn't get a seat at the bar."

Lucaj believes Grand Tavern's appeal lies in its reputation as a neighborhood hang-out.
"I think we're like the 'Cheers' of Farmington Hills. Everybody knows they're going to see their friends and neighbors when they come in," he said.
