How did your business get started? I left the family business World Wide TV & Appliance in 1992 to establish Paulson's Audio & Video, a cutting edge audio and video company.

What products and services does your business provide? The business has changed over the years to high end audio products, Ultra High Definition 4K TVs, Smart Home products and high resolution surveillance cameras. Our technicians are capable of installing any type of low-voltage equipment for homes and businesses.

What do you want your business to be best known for? Besides having a great assortment of audio/video products, the most knowledgeable sales and installation staff. We really excel in after-the-sale customer support. Our creed is "Take care of the client and they will take of you!"

What's your most popular service? There are two areas of our business that continue to do very well -- mid to high audio products, like McIntosh components and B&W speakers. Home Automation also known as Smart Home technology has a great future! Allows you to operate your home from your smart phone or tablet away from home. You can unlock your front door, turn up or down the thermostat and know when your child has arrived home from school.

Why did you choose the location that you did? Being familiar with Farmington/Farmington Hills area I selected the 12 Mile/Halsted area because of the growth the was taking place in 1992 and the improvements to the 12 Mile corridor.
