Roosters Men's Grooming Center Donates to 'Movember' Cause
The men's salon will give $1 for each new "Like" on Facebook to an organization that promotes information about men's health issues.
Roosters Men's Grooming Center in Farmington Hills is supporting the "Movember" movement through the month of November, by donating $1 for every new "Like" on the salon's Facebook page.
In 2011, Movember raised more than $126 million around the world, and in the U.S. donated funds supporting prostate and testicular cancer initiatives, according to the organization's website. Funds are raised by men who grow, trim and maintain mustaches in November and seek sponsors for their efforts.
A Roosters Men's Grooming Center press release indicated the company's goal is to raise $4,000.
